Delta Matrix and Pulsiv Prepare for a New Era in Power Electronics
The global power electronics sector is entering a period of significant change.
Pulsiv and Delta Matrix have signed a Long-Term Partnership Agreement confirming that Delta Matrix are the Exclusive Provider to Pulsiv of all the current and planned variants of these groundbreaking USB-C modules.
A significant shift is underway in the global power electronics market.
Driven by increasingly stringent energy efficiency legislation, evolving product standards and growing pressure on electrical infrastructure, manufacturers are being forced to rethink how power is converted, managed, and delivered within everyday products.
At Delta Matrix, we are proud to be playing a key role in bringing one of the industry’s most exciting developments to market through our strategic partnership with Pulsiv.
Recent legislative changes, including BS IEC EN 61000-3-2:2019+A2:2024, updated Ecodesign requirements, Common Charger regulations and new efficiency standards for external power supplies, are raising the bar for product designers and manufacturers worldwide.
The objectives are clear: improve energy efficiency, enhance grid stability, extend product lifespan and reduce electronic waste.
Meeting these requirements, however, presents a considerable engineering challenge…
Pulsiv’s OSMIUM technology has been developed specifically to address this challenge. Representing a fundamentally different approach to AC-to-DC power conversion, the technology enables manufacturers to achieve levels of efficiency, thermal performance and regulatory compliance that are increasingly difficult to deliver using conventional architectures.
What makes the technology particularly compelling is that it addresses multiple industry challenges simultaneously.
In addition to supporting compliance with current and emerging regulations, OSMIUM enables more compact designs, reduces operating temperatures, improves reliability, and significantly extends product life expectancy through the elimination of inrush current, one of the most persistent limitations within power electronics design.
Pulsiv’s latest 65W USB-C module has demonstrated continuous full-power operation in environments where conventional solutions often encounter thermal limitations. The architecture also removes installation restrictions typically associated with inrush current, opening the door to significantly greater deployment flexibility across residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
Whilst the technology itself is attracting considerable attention, success at scale requires more than innovation alone.
As Pulsiv’s exclusive manufacturing partner for all production modules, Delta Matrix has been involved throughout the development journey, supporting design evolution, verification activities, and extensive testing programmes. Working alongside the Pulsiv engineering team, we have helped accelerate development while simultaneously preparing the manufacturing infrastructure required for volume production.
We are responsible for establishing and managing the resilient, high-volume supply chains required to support future growth, ensuring customers can access the technology at scale whilst maintaining the quality, consistency and reliability expected from mission-critical electronic products.
For Delta Matrix, this partnership represents more than a manufacturing programme. It is an opportunity to help deliver a technology platform capable of influencing the future direction of power conversion across billions of devices worldwide.
And this is only the beginning…..
