aste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

02

Recycling of WEEE

Any items that have a plug, use batteries, need charging or have a picture of a crossed-out wheelie bin on, are Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

These items should not be sent to landfill and, for personal users, should be recycled at Recycling Centres, electrical item bring banks or via electrical retailers - visit www.recycleyourelectricals.org.uk to find local recycling options for personal users.

If you are a commercial user of WEEE you will need to arrange collection of your waste by an appropriately licensed operator; you can search the government register to find an appropriate company.
